Peppadew® Piquanté Pepper Con Queso Recipe

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) vegetable oil
  • 1 green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) Peppadew® Jalapeño Slices, drained and finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 400 g (1 1/4 cup) tomatoes, chopped
  • 500 g (2 cups) cream cheese
METHOD
  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan and cook the green pepper, onion, Peppadew® Jalapeño Slices and garlic until the onion softens.
  2. Add the tomatoes and cook until the sauce has thickened.
  3. Add the cheese and stir in until it melts and the dip is smooth.
  4. Serve at once with crispy corn chips.
